Q. I don't "get it." Are you saying bird flu isn't a concern? My uncle died of bird flu!
A. What we hope you take away from the site is this: Most of the time the risk to you from all the scary stuff in the media and on the internet is extremely small, and sometimes it's made up completely. There's so much of it out there that people can (and do) worry away their lives for no reason. I'm sorry about your uncle but I'd rather see YOU out contributing to society than holed up in a plastic bubble making webpages about the secret CIA avian flu plot.

A. While a political bent may appear occasionally, this site is not intended to be a continual soapbox about divisive, hot-button political issues and figures. There are plenty of other places for that.
